Your Democratic candidate Lauren Staley-Ferry has committed a criminal offense and hasn't even taken the time to actually pay back the small business she had stolen from.
If you as a voter and/or concerned citizen are as worried as we are please vote for the other candidate. For those who do not have the knowledge that Ferry had stolen a check from her place of employment and made it out to herself. When caught she fled the scene of the crime and she went on to continue moving. When these crimes was finally revealed, Ferry said she was sorry, although not to the victim, and there was no effort to pay off this debt, no intention to fix her wrong, rather she apologized and openly talked about how hard it was to be blasted with her own mistakes.
This shows a lack of accountability for her actions much less just how she may run the Will County clerks office, if she is able to!
4 things to think about before you vote:
1. Ferry has committed felony theft while our current County Clerk's office has been clean of such corruption.
2. Lauren did not repaid her stolen gains to the victim.
3. Ferry might not be bondable to be the clerk due to her felony criminalrecord.

Lauren Staley-Ferry, D-Joliet, was charged with the felony forgery in Maricopa County, Arizona. Staley-Ferry had lived and worked in Maricopa County but moved from there to Wisconsin before the charge was filed.
According to court documents, the charge alleged that, in July of 2002, Staley-Ferry removed a check from her employer at Independent Capital Group, then located in Scottsdale, Arizona, filled it out to herself for unknown amounts and then deposited it into her personal checking account. The document said she did this without the knowledge or permission of her employer.
An arrest warrant was issued for Staley-Ferry’s arrest in April 2003, according to Amanda Jacinto, a spokeswoman for the Maricopa Co. Attorney’s Office. By that time, Staley-Ferry said she had already left Arizona and was back in the Midwest, eventually settling in Joliet, her hometown.
Ms. .Jacinto said Staley-Ferry’s case was before the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office’s “records retention period,†but that it appears Staley-Ferry was not arrested. Instead, Jacinto said, it appears Staley-Ferry was sent a summons to appear in court, which she failed to do.
Also, the Sheriff said, sentencing for a forgery conviction would likely be probation and restitution.

The criminal charges were dropped in 2012, as specified in the court papers. Jacinto said, in March of 2012, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office reached out to Independent Capital Group to notify them of the change in the status of the case.
The Herald-News reached out to Staley-Ferry on Thursday, she said, while she did not remember some of the details, she rejects the charge.
“I am aware of that,†Staley-Ferry stated. “Obviously, which was in the past.â€
Staley-Ferris said the charges had official site been “misdirected†and therefore there was “nothing there†in regard to the charges.
